You have been a trainee at Frey & Frey since 2023. Why did you choose this job?
After a long, intensive discussion about my career choice, I came across this profession rather by chance - but it was precisely this chance that was a stroke of luck. During an internship in an interior design office, I was able to get a taste of what it's like to be an advertising technology designer. After just a few days, it was clear to me: I wanted to learn this profession! The combination of creativity, communication, conception and technical realization makes this profession incredibly versatile and varied. That's exactly what I was looking for - and I found it here at Frey & Frey.
What was the craziest, most exciting or most special job you've ever done at Frey & Frey?
I believe that every single job is unique in itself and in our industry I come across various extraordinary projects. But to name just one: Rewrapping an entire wall in a shopping center after store opening hours in western Switzerland under time pressure for a fire, with security watching, was definitely a new and exciting experience for me. The work was definitely worth it, the wall has shone in new splendor ever since. One thing is guaranteed - I'll never get bored at Frey & Frey, and that's a good thing.
What excites you about Frey & Frey?
It's the interplay of different skills under one roof: architecture, live communication, design, advertising technology - all my interests come together here. For me as a creative person, Frey & Frey is a real paradise. But it's also the people who inspire me. The team inspires me every day with their passion and expertise. I get to learn, grow and contribute every day - that motivates me to always give my best. Doing my apprenticeship here is definitely one of my best decisions.
Brazil? Iceland? Or the Grisons? If you had a free choice, where would you like to travel to?
As a true Grisons native, my heart naturally always beats for my homeland. However, my spirit of discovery draws me to faraway places. Surfing on Oahu in Hawaii would be an absolute dream. Until then, I'll be practising my technique diligently on Lake Thun - my little surfing paradise right under my nose.
Cycling or chilling on the beach?
Both! Anyone who knows me knows that I love being out and about on two wheels - be it on a mountain bike or a racing bike. But balance is just as important to me. It brings body and mind into harmony. Just letting your mind wander and enjoying the sweetness of doing nothing - that's just as valuable. That way I'm recharged for the next ride.
If your life was made into a movie, who would play your role?
If my life were ever to be brought to the screen, I would like to see Keira Knightley in this role. She combines all the character traits that I hope for in a cinematic portrait: elegance, multi-faceted qualities, lightness and strength at the same time. If portrayed, then stylishly - and Keira conveys this level-headedness with a naturalness that I greatly admire. Admittedly, there is also a certain visual similarity.
