Interior Design FAQ

Interior design thrives on creativity. But there are many steps between the initial sketch and the finished space: permitting processes, fire safety requirements, labor laws, accessibility standards, acoustic standards, and the question of who ultimately bears responsibility. We answer ten relevant questions that clients ask us before a project begins. We highlight where the most common pitfalls lie.

Exhibition Stand Construction & Events FAQ

A successful trade show or event presence begins long before the first visitor arrives. The concept, design, production, technology, logistics, and the on-site team must all work together seamlessly. We answer the ten questions that marketing and communications managers ask us most frequently before a project begins. And we show where the groundwork for an effective presentation is laid.

Verena-Maria Meyers.

I look forward to having a coffee on my way to work in the morning, chatting with my colleagues and actually getting to work. Since becoming a mother, a lot has revolved around family. For me personally, I need both to be balanced.

Making the brand tangible

Making the brand tangible - interior design that brings identity to life Why your brand should not only be seen, but experienced A brand is much more than a logo, a slogan or a color scheme. It lives from emotions, stories and values. But these values remain abstract as long as they cannot be seen and experienced. This is exactly where spaces come in: They translate the DNA of a brand into architecture, design and atmosphere - and thus make it tangible.

Ladina Zanetti

The combination of creativity, communication, conception and technical realization makes this profession incredibly versatile and varied. That's exactly what I was looking for - and I found it here at Frey & Frey.

Since I started working at Frey & Frey, I have been able to develop both personally and professionally. After starting an apprenticeship as a painter, which wasn't quite my thing, I found my passion in logistics. This decision showed me how important it is to find the right place in your professional life - a realization that I can now pass on to our apprentices as a vocational trainer.

Circular Architecture

Andreas Jenni

I can use my many years of experience from an agency for identity and communication as well as my professional experience as an advertising technology designer in a targeted manner. My passion for 3D visualizations in particular allows me to visualize my clients' ideas and wishes before they actually exist physically.

AI - Artificial intelligence

In companies like Frey & Frey, where emotions play a major role due to the mapping of the company's DNA and culture in space, AI initially seems like a foreign body. Corporate culture cannot be standardized. On the contrary, visions should be as unique as possible in order to stand out from the competition and create identification.

Sabrina Oberli

Every customer has new needs and every project presents new challenges. Especially in the office sector, the differences in project size, scope and budget couldn't be greater. My strengths are definitely in the area of design and having a feel for what the client wants, what they like and how I can meet or even exceed their expectations with my proposals.

Leadership Culture

Leadership means positively influencing swarm behavior. Different talents have differentiated knowledge which, when exchanged, leads to synergies and thus opens up unexpected dynamics. Leadership does not determine who has to do what and when, but rather provides support in terms of goals/vision and ensures the achievement of these milestones by means of guidelines. Employees should assume more personal responsibility and thus more identification. Decision-making processes are thus shortened due to the increased competence of each individual.

Tom Winter

In an increasingly digital world, many companies are asking themselves what role trade fairs and events still play in the marketing mix. Are personal encounters and face-to-face contacts still irreplaceable, or are alternative formats becoming increasingly important? Today's interview gets to the bottom of these questions and sheds light on how the trade fair and event industry has changed in recent years.

Nadia Bongard.

These first 8 months at Frey und Frey went by in a flash for me. I very quickly felt "at home" - as if I had always been there. The whole team and the management contributed to this. The change was extremely good for me personally, as I was finally able to settle down professionally in my home region, the canton of Fribourg. I bring a "touche de français", a breath of fresh air and my sense of humor to the company.

Electricity from the roof.

At the beginning of September 2023, Frey & Frey commissioned the first photovoltaic system at its headquarters in Flamatt. The system on the flat roof of the logistics hall covers an area of over 3,000 square meters and consists of 1,200 solar panels.

Rethinking spatial concepts.

Companies and organizations are forced to adapt their working environment to the technological and process-related framework conditions and to motivate employees in order to increase productivity and find skilled workers. Frey und Frey accompanies you from decision-making through planning and implementation to the goal.
